Terrance Williams began thinking about this day in the eighth grade. Already an elite basketball player, Williams was being recruited by many of the local private high schools. It didn’t take him long to realize that if programs such as Gonzaga, a perennial contender in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, one of the country’s best high school leagues, were calling him now, then he could probably attract college interest one day.
