Chase Williams, who quarterbacked Good Counsel to this past season’s Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship, will transfer to St. Albans, becoming one of the biggest moving pieces in an uncertain football season.
Williams, a rising junior, made his announcement on Twitter this week. He would have been entering his second year as a starter at the WCAC powerhouse, which upset St. John’s on a last-minute field goal in the title game in November.
