This program format is a Zoom event
Let’s recall the early days and years of the women’s movement and how women leaders made history with Title IX (legislation and regulations) by prohibiting sex discrimination in schools or other education programs that receive federal funds. Then, let’s get updated on where Title IX stands today in every aspect of our lives—employment, education, and beyond.
And, finally let's discuss where we need to go now to reach Title IX’s full potential!

Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-CT) will moderate the panel discussing the early history of Title IX, legal issues and concerns, the campus scene today, and "37 Words," a new ESPN documentary on Title IX celebrating 50 Years!
Mark your calendars now for June 21st at 6:30 pm for WNDC's in-person showing of the documentary, more details coming soon.
