DCSAA ULTIMATE AND CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS SET FOR SATURDAY 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The DCSAA Ultimate Frisbee and Chess state championships are set for Saturday, May 7 at Sidwell Friends School. 

The Ultimate Frisbee tournament begins at 8:30 a.m., with six teams battling for bragging rights. Teams will compete in two three-team pools, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the single-elimination semifinals. 

• Pool A: DC International, Jackson-Reed, Maret 
• Pool B: School Without Walls, Sidwell Friends, Washington Latin

The semifinals are scheduled for 12:30 and 2 p.m., with the championship set for 3:30 p.m. 

The DCSAA Chess State Championships begin at 11 a.m., with 54 participants vying for individual and team championships.
