WASHINGTON GAS NAMED PRESENTING SPONSOR  

OF DCSAA BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The District of Columbia State Athletic Association has entered into a partnership with Washington Gas, which provides safe, reliable natural gas service to more than 1.2 million customers in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.  

As part of the partnership, Washington Gas will be designated as an Official Partner of the DCSAA and will be the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s DCSAA Softball and Baseball Championships that culminate with championship games Sunday at the Washington Nationals Youth Academy. In addition, Washington Gas will help the DCSAA recognize former District of Columbia female student athletes as part of the year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX.

This is yet another sign of WGL’s commitment to its community,” said Kenny Owens, Executive Director of the District of Columbia State Athletic Association. “We are grateful for their support of the DCSAA and our student-athletes and look forward to having them involved at a number of our championship events.”
