DCSAA FALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

MEDIA ADVISORY: DCSAA FALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS 

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Student-athletes from across Washington, D.C., this weekend will begin competing for DC State Athletic Association championships. 

The DCSAA boys and girls cross-country championships will be contested on Saturday afternoon at Kenilworth Park. The girls state championship race is scheduled to begin at 1:20 p.m., followed by the boys state championship race at 1:55 p.m. These races will be preceded by middle school and junior varsity races.  

The DCSAA volleyball tournament presented by Washington Gas is a 12-team bracket that begins play on Tuesday with the championship game set for 5:00pm, Friday, Nov. 11 at the University of the District of Columbia gymnasium. 

The DCSAA boys and girls soccer tournaments are 10-team fields that begin play on Tuesday and conclude with state championship matches 5:00pm & 7:00pm on Sunday, Nov. 13 at Catholic University’s Carlini Field. 

The DCSAA Class AA and Class A football tournaments begin on Saturday, Nov. 12; pairings will be announced next week. The DCSAA Class A football championship will be played on Saturday, Nov. 26 at Georgetown University’s Cooper Field, with the DCSAA Class AA football championship on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Howard University.
