With the shot clock ticking down and his team jousting for momentum amid a rowdy atmosphere at St. John’s, DeMatha’s Ryan Allen squared up on the right wing.
Allen’s cousin, Terrell, had prepared him for moments like these, showing by example how to keep calm while serving as the Stags point guard last season. Saturday, it was Ryan’s turn.
