The Stanford women’s basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16 after Monday’s dramatic 66-65 win over South Dakota State. Once again, National Cathedral All-Met Marta Sniezek came off the bench to provide steady point guard play. In the Cardinal’s opening round win over San Francisco Saturday, she finished with eight points and nine assists.
