Friendship Collegiate‘s defense entered this season hungry. Surrendering more than 27 points per game last season gave the Knights an appetite. Through four wins so far this season, Friendship Collegiate’s defense has allowed a total of 34 points.
“I’m not surprised at all. Our defense has been together since ninth grade. It’s not about individual stats or highlights or how many offers you got. It’s about playing team defense and getting a championship,” cornerback Christian Braswell said. “We played together as freshmen, and now as seniors we’re just out there eating.”
