Jelani Williams had long been pondering the Ivy League leap, and Penn being on the table since the summer after his freshman year when he landed an offer at an elite camp in Philadelphia.
In the two years since, the Quakers experienced a coaching change while the Sidwell Friends senior’s game has taken off. But his Ivy League aspirations have remained . On Sunday, Williams called Penn Coach Steve Donahue to make an oral commitment and announced on Twitter that he’d be a “Quaker for life.”
