As he rushed the passer and generally caused havoc Friday night, H.D. Woodson defensive lineman Jaylen Twyman did not lose perspective on what the Warriors’ 32-14 win over St. Mary’s Ryken represented for their season-long hopes.
He is a coveted recruit for the three-time defending Turkey Bowl champions, pondering scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Missouri and Wake Forest, among others. But the Warriors had lost to this Washington Catholic Athletic Conference school last season. Now, one year later, they had dominated the very same team.
