Friendship Collegiate senior Vaughn Taylor walked up to junior Chris Ferguson at the end of the Knights’ 30-6 win over Carroll on Friday night and, at least for a moment, didn’t consider the sling the quarterback wore on his right shoulder. They had rarely been challenged in the D.C. State Athletic Association Pigskin Classic at Catholic University and brimmed with confidence after wreaking havoc on a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference foe.
