Antwan Walker walked into the gym at H.D. Woodson last week, and his development was there for all to see again.

Back home for the Thanksgiving break, he no longer wore the familiar black, red and green of Woodson. Now, he was in the orange and black leg sleeves that Hargrave Military Academy provided him. Perhaps more importantly, Woodson’s once-shy two-time D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association player of the year spoke with confidence during an interview.

Then he went back to his workout, swishing three pointers in succession and showing off the on-court maturation that allowed him to sign a national letter-of-intent to play at Georgetown next year.
