At stake: The D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association Stars division title and a spot in the DC State Athletic Association Class AA championship game.
Watch for: The quarterbacks. Both Woodson and Wilson enter this rematch of last year’s Turkey Bowl relying on back-up signal callers due to injury. The Tigers, in particular, will have to adjust on the fly after Old Dominion recruit Steven Williams, Jr. suffered a fracture in his throwing hand during a DCIAA Stars semifinal matchup against Ballou. Wilson will instead turn to freshman Malakai Anthony, who will make his first career start on a big stage against a Woodson defense that features playmakers in the front seven and secondary.
