Muhammad Abdul-Rahim was hired as the next football coach at Ballou on Monday, and he has wasted no time familiarizing himself with the school and his players. Rahim has visited the Southeast school every day this week to meet with players and get a head start on the upcoming fall season.
After more than a decade as an assistant with Friendship Collegiate, he’s still getting used to life at the recently rebuilt school and stadium.
“It’s like going to the NFL, as far facilities,” Rahim said.
