For the first time Tuesday night, Paul VI had Chris Lykes trapped. Or so the Panthers thought.
In front of Lykes was Jeremy Roach. Behind him, just inches from his heels, was the sideline. But Gonzaga’s5-foot-8 point guard had it all mapped out. He flew past Roach, slipped by an oncoming defender, jumped into the paint, did a half spin and finally hit a wide-open Prentiss Hubb on the opposite wing.
