The seniors on the Wilson boys’ track team needed no reminder of their three second-place finishes at the D.C. State Athletic Association championships.
“It’s all we talk about,” senior Rahim Diaite said. “It’s literally all we talk about.”
Now the Tigers have freed themselves up for a new topic of conversation. Junior Isaac Frumkin won the 800 in 157.15 and the 1,600 in 4:29.79 to lead Wilson to its first boys’ DCSAA track and field title Friday afternoon at Gallaudet University.
