Ziyah Holman had a simple mantra going into Tuesday’s D.C. State Athletic Association indoor track championships: “Run as fast as you can, keep the pace, bring it home.”
It seems to have worked. The Georgetown Day sophomore had an afternoon to remember at Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, setting a pair of meet records in the girls’ 300 and 500 meters.
